What is the highest level or them and do you have to get them in order or can you get the most advanced one?

The highest level one is the Master CorDemi Codex. You can get it in one shot, no need for any kind of upgrade as all 3 versions are stand-alone item. The easy way would be to buy it with Dragon Coins The hard way would be to farm a quest for it (you will have to look the DF encyclopedia for the exact quest, as I don't know which one)  |

Yeah,I just bought a spare one Cysero had laying around in his shop. Got the Master Codex just in case there are any more of those doors in future quests.  |

I'm pretty sure it is,but you can check by the one being at the bottom of Cysero's list is the beginners Cor-demi.
